It took me a while and the full video to kind of get it ;) The theory of proportional force is the action that you use setting up your system of visualizing rocks rolling down your system to clean and release the gold to allow it the settle faster into the bed load , :| :ugeek:  I think I get it

All I can say is this is a GREAT video! Lots of hidden "gems" of information. Great job as always, Doc!

proportional force, hydraulic equivalence, incremental processing, Im gonna need a bigger dictionary
But thats the thing about Gold Hog, putting the knowledge out there for all to learn.

Will that be metric gallons of "Lite Beer" in your case?

Doc,

That video, as hard as it obviously was to make, was worth every bit of effort. Yes, it gets deep but the explanations more than made the entire effort understandable, logical and very satisfying in the details.

I will say that I have a far better appreciation (Oh, so much more than before) of all the engineering that goes behind the mats and equipment that you have created over the last few years.

Hats off to you, sir!

Joe

Watched this 1hr after it was posted. As always it didn't disappoint.
Thanks Doc. People don't believe me when I blow out my sluice with scr ur rb mat.
Then dial it back a little bit and most of the stuff goes through it. They just shake their heads.
I'm a gold miner not a black sand miner. I don't know how many times you've said it and people still don't get it.

Multi Sluice.

Even though I'm Hopping around on crutches this summer (in Idaho, need a new hip but have to wait until after the summer, at least). I had, long ago, made the decision to buy the Multi - it was just 5 weeks in the hospital with most of that time in a ton of pain that slowed my putting in the order. Among all the obvious other reasons for not waiting another minute, I wanted the ability to go out at least for a little bit over this summer to do some very light trowel work.

Over the winter I also worked up an in-stream sluice with Hog mats for general non pump activities as well as a G-2 fitted with Hog mats in the bottom tray. Now, that bottom tray was a ring tailed PIA because the thermo formed tray has all tapered sides with rounded angles where every side and floor met. I'll just have to see how THAT setup goes next summer when I have access to pumps and such.

So, it was a multi sluice that I finally bought last week. Absolutely the worst "rush, rush' time for your piglets to get equipment made and shipped. It was an excellent effort by those 'piglets' to get it out so quickly!

I've been following the progress of the shipment from Georgia to Indiana so far through the tracking links that the shipping department sent to me. It was really handy to have not the UPS tracking number but also the ready to go link. One click from the email and there the information was. It scanned out of INDY at 2:00 PM this afternoon and it's on it's way here to the Idaho address. Really fun to see the progress of the shipment.

Great products that perform as an industry leader. All that along with blindingly fast service. Your folks certainly do out perform in the customer service area.

Joe
