Ya... it was on my mind so much I decided to just go over and do a run that would stop the "little voices" in my head. Every run that I have done "hot"... has accomplished what I want the mat to do. Give me clean gold in the first two mats, and capture the majority. (95%+)
We'll still do other testing with it, but that's kind of the purpose. CLEAN the cons... and end up with a tablespoons... not cups. :)

Yesterday I ran 5 gallons of Crisson Gold Mine paydirt through my Gold Hog Stacking Highbanker at 36 GPIH. Then I cleaned out the Top mat only, replaced it with the First version of the Washer Mat (I have not yet made a Washer Mat for my GH Stacking Highbanker) and ran the concentrates. I ran the cons at 17 GPIH.
As I have stated before I do not spoon feed my mats, I jam it in there. I ran 5 gallons of paydirt in 8 minutes or less. This yielded about a teaspoon of clean gold from the mat. Took about 2 minutes to pan that out. Man, I love this Washer mat!
I will next glue up a section of UR and one piece of the New Washer Mat. That way I should have nothing but clean gold in the Washer Mat. I'll then re-run the tailings until they come out completely clean. I'll then pan the tailings of course, but I know I won't find much.
80+ degrees yesterday...I love playing on my patio after a day at work. :-)

Got my Washer Mat Combo configuration put together and tested: 1 slice of UR + 1 slice of Washer mat. 12.9 degrees @ 100 GPIH.
1. Classified raw paydirt/cons to 10 mesh.
2. Ran 1 gallon of 10- paydirt through the Combo mat capturing 100% of the tailings.
3. Cleaned the Mat. Caught 90% of the gold in the first run.
4. Re-ran the tailings one more time. Caught 10% of the gold in the second run.
5. Panned all the tailings = some 100- gold.
6. Panned the Hyper-cons...3 tablespoons of material.
7. See photo of gold recovered.

I continue to be impressed with this mat...much more fun to me than trying to use a water table.
