Doc do you still recommend the champion for highbanking with the monster hog or is the northstar better. I am leaning towards the champion for budget reasons

If budget is a strong issue, I would buy a cheap 3" on ebay.
You can find a reducer for about $20, reduce at the pump.
Champion is good for the money it's just that it will run at close to 100% most of the time.
Lots of wear and tear.
Also, this is a good pump for the money.

Just remember.... build a FINE screen for the intake.
Spray nozzles will clog with gravels if you do not.

Received the monster one day before a deep freeze in colorado, talk about gold fever. Dry run almost complete cant wait for a thaw. Looks awsome thank you doc

I gave the monster a run the other day. It was easy to set up and run I havent done a complete clean up of the cons but what I have checked has doubled from using other equipment. Doc thsnk you for a great product
