Hey Michael, Congratulations on your new arrival. Trust me that sticky alabama dirt will have it filthy in no time. Can't wait to see it in action. Paul

Well that is disappointing for me to hear as I had planned on going to GNG for the unofficial event since it is a short drive for me but with everything we have going on right now I think the Alabama trip would just be out of the question.

I also have a friend who has a producer friend that is wanting to do a documentary [not a reality show ;) ] about modern day prospecting from several different aspects and my intentions were to have them tag along for the event given the number of people coming from different states and the equipment being used for one of his segments. This is still in the planning stages but these guys are local to us as well but once again I don't think the logistics will work for them either.

Maybe GNG will reconsider their fee schedule and we can try this again next year or something. In reference to Docs suggestion I will compose an email to send to Brian as well.

Alabama Gold camp is only about 3 hours from you, I am driving 15 hours lol, But too bad you cannot come. There are a few that are coming. A few of us will still probably drive up to G & G for one day. Most of us are planning on 4 or 5 days prospecting. Maybe next time.

Howdy Y'all,

Sorry I'm a little late to responding, but we've had a death in the family that needed our full attention. So I haven't been doing any prospecting lately. We won't be attending at the new location in bama, it's 7 hours of driving for a day of prospecting.

Sorry, we were looking forward to it. :(
