That was wrong for them to do that. GnG knew you had put something big together. I guess they thought they would get their yearly income for this outing. The wife and I will defiantly not be there. I guess we will go to Lucky Strike where they know how to treat their customers. For those who go i wish you good luck hope you get out of there with your shirt on your back.

Wish all who attend the best of luck and really wish I could be there with you all. Current medical issues plus moving again drains finances quickly. Hope someone makes a video of the outting!

Wouldnt worry too much about it, there are lots of other places to go to. Personally, I'll still visit there from time to time because I liked the people who work there and just the calming setting that you get to enjoy. But good lord the cost will kill me on the new dredge  at his current prices it will run $245 (added the cost per nozzle) for that beast (after I finish the friggin thing).

Once I get all settled to the new location I should be able to join up with you all from time to time as the girlfriend loves the idea of traveling.

Hey all, Just got back from Ala Gold Camp. I believe everybody will be happy that this was switched to AGC. The piles there are really rich and have a lot of gold. Will post pics tommorrow of my finds after running for a total of about 7 hrs. Paul

Here is my suggestion...
If you have been to GNG, and are now considering not going there, or had planned on going and now not going, write a very nice and polite email expressing the fact that you will no longer be going due to the cost increases.
Just not going and them thinking "wow the economy must be bad" doesn't do any good. However, if they get 20 emails that express the loss of business due to price increases... I think that will open up the debate internally to reversing their decision.
I have no "dog in this fight" but I do feel that customer to business communication is critical.
Lost revenues are tracked by big businesses and they figure out why.
Smaller businesses simply end up closing and blame someone else.
I've seen it a hundred times.
A lot of us really love GNG and would hate to see that happen.
My two cents.
