I will be renting a cabin called Middle Dangerous River, sleeps 4 and is only about a 2 mile hike from the end of the road. I have room for three more July 6 to July 21. You would not need to stay the complete 2 weeks.

if there was any chance that I could get the time off work! I would go , the Yakutat area is one of the hottest new gold areas in Southeast Alaska, I wish you all the best of luck.

I hear they are picking up nuggets like daisy's in the field. OK not really. I got my fishing pole ready for the Grayling for dinner. Made a wagon out of my army surplus cargo container. When on the plane everything is packed inside, once up there I'll put the wheels on and the handle and head for the cabin. Got my first aid kit, life straw, bug head net, new sluice with gold hog mats ready, tarp setup to catch rain water and drain into a 5 gallon bucket, chest waders, gold pans, air mattress and sleeping bags, small shovel, 5 gallon bucket with 1/4 inch screen, Mr Daniels and food.
